weird it seems

that when it is 25 degrees outside, and i long for the beach all day,
we can still smell the autumn in the air.
today it is even abit windy, and i swept the terrace clean from dry leaves.

the hulk

was it frustration (even though in that moment, i mainly felt inspired) or simply roughness?
i just happened to break a cup with my bare hands while 'bathing' it.

only one of those english horse riding lords left. i can deal with that.

i better hide in bed before something else will break.

goodnight

(this week i opened up an account on last.fm, tradera, and gmail. sara, hold your horses. stay of the net for a while. do something with your life)

miss effective

cooking is my meditation... (sometimes)
today i've made:
babaganoush (aubergine spread)
oven baked yam's and pumpkin
pomegranate/blackberry smoothie
pesto

and, last but not least
im waiting for the dough to finish rising,
and hopefully it will turn out well, 'the fantastic bread', which frkn l made ( i replaced the milk with yoghurt, and the flour is rye or something else)

friday

so far,
this day has been pretty good.
i had two pints of coffee!
and some yummy yoghurt with mango and figs.
then i played female lions, looking for a prey with eliyah. and she showed me her circus tricks.

now im trying to clean the house of r.
that is somewhat mission impossible.
he has a collection of dead bugs in the sleeping room.
not much longer though....

one of those days

...when calling in sick is the only option. i've spent the whole day in bed, infront of the ventilator. with a coffee. then with a mango shake. watching a movie. and just now, with a homemade veggie burger. i've got my personal care taker,
so being a woman ain't that bad after all...

for you

oh, i have such lovely sisters!

one made me feel like a happy cloud in the big city, all day long.
and the other made me slip into the clothes of a doctor.

thank you frkn l and fru a!!!!

(säga vad man vill om landstinget, men dom hittar på fiffiga ord ala landstings bakelse, och gillar tydligen vackra, gröna nyanser)

now, of course, these are not the only reasons for why i love and miss them.

right now eating baklava and sewing with bernette.
goodnight!

but this is more cruel..

one of my neighbours was playing michael bolton today. loud. for all of us to hear. without shame.
and now ancient metallica songs. i prefer the last though, if i have to choose...

it is cruel

we spent a day in acco

and managed to catch the sunset on the beach

ode to the french mademoiselles

oh...

i really like this one, and to watch the intense gaze of the accordion player,
and this one for a sunday jazzy mood. or any other day for that matter.

thanks to lady k for the first one!

19.49

now, it is coffee time for me,
and liver time for the dog.
it is a weird feeling, after being a vegetarian for 12 years (and a vegan for 2 of those),
to buy expensive meat for a dog.

however, i still didn't manage to wake his interest for veggies....

update

it seems so natural to me that the mouse must have been a she, while the spider is certainly a he.

i wonder...

....where that huge spider went (a round, plum body, add some hairy legs to that) after i decided not to chase him out of my house yesterday night, since i was in a rush?

i can't seem to find him in the corner where i thought he would hang out. (my spider theory is falling apart)

dear mr spider, i don't mind sharing the house, just please let me have the bed???!!!

update-mouse story

didn't become an early eve as planned, but got an emergency call to go mouse hunting.
kept banging and searching under the fridge, but of course they are clever and silent when being scared. so, when i started to believe she wasn't in there, and to give up the hunt, i saw her.

we tried to sweep her out of the front door, instead she fled into the bathroom, and of course i couldn't find her in there afterwards. we called in for amit (the shopping assistant, now not only), who is simply AMAZING,
since he caught her with his bare hands!!!!!

we put her in a towel and brought her to the forest.

nighty night

and so...

back in the studio, back in this crazy country.

a few things worth mentioning:

*i have ants in my fridge, and flour bugs (?) in the cupboard. well, most of them went with the flour to the compost.

*my french paranoid/neurotic friend had a mouse in her bed, and panicked!!! called the whole kibbutz, didn't find anything...

*i had a soft landing, sort of, did another trip of in total six hours (with the mandatory traffic jam) back and forth to t. aviv. to avoid the worst traffic, payed a visit to ikea, just to feel that im almost still over there. i got plenty of malaco fishes, and pepparkakor, some pickled cucumbers and marabou...

time to go to bed, after having rearranged my livingroom, and had a sort of normal 'after work' eve.
